The beautiful slopes of the Portes du Soleil offer all ski enthusiasts
an unlimited ski area between France and Switzerland, between lake Geneva
and Mont Blanc, are covered in snow from the months of December through
to April. Over 650 km of marked ski runs in the biggest ski area in the
world, is available to you with an interlinked ski area spanning 2 countries.

away.
The Chalet St Marie has a ski and boot room with dedicated access, in
the basement. There is plenty of space for boots to hang and places to
stow skiis safely in racks.
The Morzine - Avoriaz Sector:
Equally accessible from the village centre by the Super Morzine gondola
lift which has been equipped with new cabins, it is comprised of 70 km
of ski runs between 1000 and 2350 meters in altitude. This is paradise
for those liking the more modern forms of snow sports, as there’s
a snowpark with a half pipe and a “snowcross” where you can
practice off-piste pursuits in total safety. This sector is also home
to the Lindarets village, a hamlet of high mountain farms, which have
been turned into restaurants, to the great pleasure of all good-food lovers,
and is the gateway to Switzerland.

The Morzine - Les Gets Sector:
Directly accessible from the village centre, this sector links the Pléney
and Nyon to Morzine, Chavannes and Mont Chéry in les Gets, offering
107 km of ski runs between 1000 and 2020 meters in altitude.

Ski Schools:
There are various ski schools in the area. The ESF (Ecole du Ski Francais)
are based on the Lindarets plateau, providing a nursery slope and a separate
children's ski garden.They are recommended for beginners and intermediates.
The British Alpine Ski School, based in Avoriaz also runs courses for
the beginner up to the 'Masterclass Clinics' for those who want to improve
their mogul and backcountry skiing.
