The combination of Morzine and Avoriaz brings a great combination of activities for winter or summer.

For entertainment and for those not into their skiing and mountain biking Morzine is home to a swimming pool and ice rink (with regular ice hockey matches), tennis courts, bowling lanes, plenty of restaurants, takeaways, and bars for quality apres ski in and around Morzine.

Around Morzine there is a golf course, the river provides white water rafting and canoeing, in summer there is a luge, tree top adventure park, horse riding, climbing, hill walking and lots more!

Close to the Chalet St Marie is Lac Montriond, a favourite with tourists and locals alike as a naturally formed lake used for recreational boating and swimming. In a beautiful setting it has a couple of restaurants overlooking the water.

And of course the major activities in Morzine and Avoriaz are skiing in winter, and mountain biking in summer.
